Delron Services Ltd is a Building services company specialising in the design, installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial heating systems, boiler houses, air conditioning and ventilation.
DSL (Fabrication) Ltd design, manufacture and install carbon and stainless steel fabrications, fire escapes, balustrades, structural steelwork, builders metalwork, pipework and process plant.
When I joined DSL in 2000, the Company had three stand-alone PCs in their offices; one for the secretary, one for accounts and one for CAD. There was no internet access or e:mail! In 2001 we decided that to support the expanding business we would need some assistance to bring our IT facilities into the 21st century. After obtaining several quotes and receiving recommendations from local companies, our relationship with Northstar began. Since the installation of our network, we have recently upgraded the server to cope with the continued growth of the business and provide a degree of “future proofing”. We now have eight PCs and a variety of peripherals, all of which have been sourced and are maintained with the assistance of Northstar. Installations and upgrades have been relatively trouble free, with any problems being ironed out quickly and efficiently.
