“The Christmas One” – IT Support Episode 85

Hi, I’m Christian from “Northstar IT” and if the hat doesn’t give it away yes, it’s that time of year again.

So first of all, can I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and I hope you all have an absolutely fantastic festive break. I know there will be still plenty of people working especially our much valued key workers but for those of you who are having some time off put your feet up and enjoy the break.

There will be a number of our team on emergency call out but for the rest of us, we are having a few days off and like last year, instead of sending out more booze that can sink a battleship or biscuits and chocolates that, quite frankly, our stomachs don’t need.

We’re going to make a generous donation to a mental health charity to help support funding mental health first aid training for small community groups and even businesses that couldn’t otherwise afford this training.

I can certainly speak from personal experience my mental health has taken a bit of a battering this year and for those of you who don’t know I’m a trustee of a small mental health charity based here in Brighton. Every pound counts for any charity, but especially the small ones.

So with your blessing and theirs, we’ll make sure that that money goes to good use. Instead of a few more pieces of shortbread, a few more brightly coloured chocolates and certainly a few more bottles of wine.

I hope you have an absolutely brilliant New Year.

I think this year it means something more than ever before.

Let’s hope 2022 is our best year yet.

Merry Christmas!

Ding dong.
